HOUSING EMERGENCY
Are you experiencing a housing emergency? Do you live in Suburban Cook County? The Alliance to End Homelessness in suburban Cook County works with Entry Point, a suburban Cook County program offering a website and a call center to connect people to an agency that can help.
RENT OR UTILITY ASSISTANCE
Do you have an immediate need for rent or utility assistance? You can contact the township office where you live. Township social workers may be able to connect you with rent or utility assistance. Many townships also have a food pantry. Here are several townships within the FamilyForward service area. Do an internet search to locate additional townships.

CHILDCARE / FOOD EXPENSES
Do you need help paying for childcare or food? The Illinois Department of Human Services operates Illinois Action for Children (childcare assistance) and SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — food stamps). For information on applying,
