Giving Hope: Raising Funds for Stronger Families
Supporting the Journey Toward Housing Security and Financial Stability
THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL EVENT!
Giving Hope: Home for the Harvest
On Sunday, September 28, FamilyForward supporters came together for an exciting afternoon of fundraising and fun in the spirit of harvest abundance.
At Giving Hope: Home for the Harvest, attendees gathered at Cotillion Banquets, Palatine, for food and festivities designed to celebrate and support FamilyForward’s work to empower parents as they gain the confidence and skills to manage their finances, maintain stable housing, navigate challenges, and achieve long-term independence. Our goal? To strengthen local low-income, working families in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Giving Hope: Home for the Harvest included a live auction as well as a silent auction and raffles, featuring creative & exciting activities, services and goodies; an inspirational family story and live appeal to raise funds for families; gourmet desserts and hearty appetizers with vegetarian options; live entertainment from The Bourbon Aristocracy bluegrass band, cash bar, and more!
Thank you to all our sponsors, prize donors, volunteers and participants, for a fantastic event!

Sharing the Bounty of the Season
In the spirit of harvest sharing at Giving Hope: Home for the Harvest, attendees brought donations of nonperishable food items to support Faith Feeds Food Pantry. Faith Feeds is an important community resource for local families facing food insecurity, a problem closely related to housing insecurity.
Based in Palatine, Ill., Faith Feeds Food Pantry (an agency of the Greater Chicago Food Depository) provides food to underserved individuals and families in northwest suburban Cook County, including the communities of Rolling Meadows, Palatine, Mount Prospect and Arlington Heights.
Giving Hope participants dropped off donations of canned meat, canned fruit, canned or dried beans, canned tomato products, and canned corn, as well as jelly, dried pasta and cereal.
Thank you to all who provided these generous donations!
