As several board members’ terms have recently expired, we have a few changes to announce regarding our FamilyForward Board of Directors as of July 2026.

Tim Wayman has concluded his time as board chair after serving for three terms. Tim, who first joined the board in 2009, will continue serving on the board, actively involved in leading the organization. Tim has provided impactful, forward-thinking leadership, incorporating decades of experience as a business owner and community leader. We are grateful for his longtime dedication to FamilyForward as a board member, volunteer, and family mentor.

Doug Hall has been elected to the position of board chair. Since joining the board last year, Doug has brought an analytical mindset, strategic outlook, and a passion for helping others to his involvement in FamilyForward and will undoubtedly bring these same important qualities to his new role. We are delighted to welcome Doug as our new chair.

Greg Ford has retired from the board and now serves as an emeritus board member. Greg, who joined the board in 2005, only two years after the organization’s founding, has served for seven terms and has been a leader, and mentor, throughout. Serving as vice chair for multiple terms, Greg’s leadership and community connections have been vital to the growth of the organization, including his advocacy efforts for affordable housing, participation in developing budgets and overseeing finances, leading our human resources administration, and more. We are deeply thankful for Greg’s service.

Chet Tambe exits the board of directors after serving faithfully since 2023. Chet has been actively involved in supporting FamilyForward in many ways, including providing technical expertise for organizational management and improving our online presence. We are excited and thankful that Chet will continue to be a committed supporter and partner of FamilyForward.

Brian O’Hara has joined the board. Brian has volunteered for FamilyForward for several years and has been an active participant in planning and participating in fundraising events and networking activities with fellow young professionals, helping to spread the word about our mission and work. We are happy to welcome Brian to the board.
We are grateful to all these leaders for their dedication and work to support FamilyForward.
