We are truly grateful for the ongoing support of St. Theresa Catholic Church for the many ways the compassionate generosity of its members helps sustain our work to empower low-income, working families in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
For over a decade, the congregation of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Palatine has been an invaluable partner in our mission to strengthen families in the northwest suburbs.

We are truly grateful for the parish’s ongoing support, from the integral role it played in expanding FamilyForward’s presence in Palatine to the many ways the compassionate generosity of its members helps sustain our work.
Over the years, members of St. Theresa’s have shared their time and talent as volunteer mentors and contributed financially to support families in our program. Through a referral partnership with the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, FamilyForward staff can effectively determine the local programs best suited to assist families in Palatine as they experience times of financial and housing instability.
Each year, St. Theresa Catholic Church selects a community organization to support with its special Lenten Focus almsgiving (charitable giving) effort. This year, the parish chose FamilyForward. Throughout Lent (which took place in March and April), we shared stories of impact to connect the parish with our mission and encourage purposeful giving. Through St. Theresa’s commitment to, and care for, its community, the parish collected close to $15,000! On behalf of the families in our program and our staff, mentors, and board of directors: Thank you, St. Theresa Catholic Church, for your wonderful generosity.
